Review: Ben Nye Final Seal and Neutral Set Powder.
Ben Nye Matte Final Seal
The spray nozzle on this is very powerful and is quite hard to get an even coverage all over your face. The feeling I get when I spray this on my face is a mild hairspray feeling. I feel my skin start to tighten up so I have to do those face exercises to loosen it up. If it gets in your hair I suggest combing through it because it feels like you just put hairspray in it. It also has a mint scent so getting this in your eye would be very unpleasant. I've seen that my makeup will stay vibrant all day long. No need for retouching except for concealer because I'm always rubbing under my eyes. I spray this after I use the neutral set but from now on I will spray it before the neutral set because I think it made me look dewy even though it said its a matte spray.
All in all these two products were a great find!

Mainstage Theatrical Supply
They also carried all of the Lumiere Luxe Powders (or pigments) and all of the pressed shadows. I got so excited!!! but of course I was on a budget =( and I always stuck to it. So I got one in Amethyst. This jar holds 8 grams of product for 10 or 9 dollars. It said 10 but she sold it for 9. Now think about this
MAC pigments-- 7.5 grams for 18.00
Face Front Cosmetics Paint me Perfect shadows-- 5 grams for $10.oo
Ben Nye Lumiere Luxe Powders-- 8 grams for 9 dollars
This is to show you how big it is next to a 5 gram jar.
First pic shows the shadow under different bases. Second pic has no flash
My next trip to Mainstage would be for a Conceal All Wheel and more Lumiere Luxe Powders.
If your on a budget theatrical makeup is an awesome alternative to the other high end brands of makeup. Theatrical makeup is made for intense heat so you know your getting some good quality stuff. Some awesome brands are Ben Nye, Mehron and Kryolan.

Jazz Up Your Mac Palettes
Yay! It's my L'Oreal HIP duo shadows. I rearranged all the colors so they could be next to a color similar to them.
This is my Neutral Brown palette. I didn't take a picture of the inside because I really just shove all my colors in it. I took the divider out because I ran out of room and I can't buy palettes around here I have to wait til I go to Houston or Cali.
I call this my travel palette. If I go on vaction I use one palette and put all the neccessary colors I will need on the trip. This one doesn't have the dividers in it either. This one looks kind of funny I may change it.
So I will be needing to get probably 3 more palettes for a a purple, pink, and blue palette. All the stickers I bought are from Michaels

MUA mini Swap Haul
The products you se below are what I got for swapping my Benefit She Laq which I hated! It did nothing for me.
MAC Peaches is a matte version of MAC Hello Kittys Fun and Games
As you can see it's pretty knicked up and I didn't know that because the person never mentioned it to me so if you do swap always ask for pictures.

Its that time of month PROM!
My Prom experience was a bad experience. It rained that night, and the boyfriend was being so shy we didn't dance!!!! But then again the DJ was playing music like the chicken dance, wahh! My boyfriend came down from a different state to take me to prom so I understood why he was so shy, he knew no one. The only person he knew was his cousin who was also my best friend and he lives down the street from me so that is how me and my boyfriend met. I stayed at prom for literally 20 mins. We took pictures said hi to a couple people and left. That is my prom experience everyone wahoo! I paid $500 for my dress and stayed at prom for 20 mins?! As for my makup I didn't know how to contour, or do eyemakeup at all. I used bareminerals for my foundation and used a champagne color all over my lid. L'Oreal true match blush and Revlon eyeliner. In the end I'm glad I went just to see what it looked like and of course dress up. I think everyone should go to their prom even if its only for 20 mins. =)

Outlet haul
These shoes I got at a boutique store down at the outlet and I am in desperate need of flip flops and sandals. I wear the same flipflops everyday. I'm starting to feel the cement where the heel hits.
Pink Iris Fluidline
Light as air Powerpoint pencil
Cool Heat e/s
I live in the middle betwen two different CCOs and the one I went to today was not the usual one I always go to. I was very surprised that they have alot of items that the other CCO doesn't have. What got me angry was they had Mutiny Pigment which was the only item I got from the A Rose Romance collection. Like really?! geeze I could have saved me some money.

MUFE Camouflage Palette No. 2
I really like this palette the only thing wrong with it is I GOT THE WRONG COLOR PALETTE! ahhhh! I don't have a sephora around me so I asked my sister to get it for me in Cali and she brought it down for me during Spring Break. There are 4 different palettes. I really think I should have gotten No.3. Consistency is great. Very light weight, buildable. The purple color is to neautralize yellow undertones. This is very pricey but I couldn't resist I wanted to try it so bad. I think I would have fell in love if I would have gotten the right palette. The only use for it now is for my makeup kit when I do others makeup. =) Another product I will be definitely trying is Ben Nye's Coneal all wheel. I am on a hunt for the best conealer out there. Watch me!

The difference between Smashbox Antishine and MAC Matte
Smashbox Antishine
Price:27
Rating: 3.9 out of 5
Reasoning: broke me out when used to much. It made me mad lol What it claims it does:Inspired by the hot lights of Hollywood's most glamorous photo shoots, this remarkably cool and refreshing Anti-Shine powder-gel formula sets Smashbox apart from the rest. Perfectly designed to afford a natural-looking, long-lasting matte finish while absorbing surface shine.
My opinion: This product removes shine while mattifying the skin. It's creamy at first but once it is spread on the skin it mattifies instantly. If you spread it like you would with a lotion you will notice tugging of the skin. I suggest using small amounts and dabbing it on the skin rather than spreading it across your face. Using too much can cause me some break out, because this product seems to clog the pores. A very small amount is the trick. It says it gives your face a matte no shine face all day long but it seems to only work for 3 hours or so. I apply it after lotion and before primer. If you use it after primer your skin would be too dry for the foundation to glide on. I've used it throughout the day over makeup and it doesn't make you look splotchy at all. I make sure I use my Clean and Clear Oil control blotting sheets first then apply the antishine. It's definitely a product I keep in my purse now.
MAC Matte
Price: 18
Rating:4.0 out of 5
Reasoning: Did not mattify but did make my skin feel silky smooth before foundation application
What it claims it does:A matte-ifying cream that acts like a powder, M·A·C Matte adds a sheer, no-shine matte texture in one smooth layer. May be used on bare or made-up skin. Use a latex sponge or a 252 Large Shader Brush to apply over the entire face or in the T-zone to reduce the appearance of shine. Apply M·A·C Matte after moisturizer, but before foundation to prime the skin for makeup. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation applies smoothly and effortlessly over top of M·A·C Matte. Apply M·A·C Matte to eyelids before applying Eye Shadow or Paints to help increase the longevity of the makeup and reduce creasing.
My Opinion: So when I read the two descriptions I thought ok so they practically do the same things. Well actually not at all. MAC Matte says it mattes the skin while reduces shine. It really does none of that. I was still shiny and I definitely did not see it matte the skin. It may have mattified a little but not anything like the Antishine. The only thing I like about this product was that it was silicone based so it acted like a primer. Well yeah it pretty much is a primer. If you have ever tried Smashbox Photofinish Primer (the normal one) they are very similar products except that the MAC Matte DOES NOT leave you hecka oily through the day. If you use too much of MAC Matte it may make your skin oily I haven't tried too much of it but i can see it happening. I would suggest this as a primer to anyone. I especially like to use it under the eyes before I do my corrector and concealer. It allows me to apply it like butttttaa. Seriously BUTTTTAA.

On the Road Again! duh duh duh duh On the Road Again!!
The makeup school I applied to called me the other day and I am ACCEPTED! which means I will be hitting the road and driving my car from Florida to Cali in July. Super duper excited but then kind of scared because it's such a big change for me. My sisters live out there so I know I won't feel completely lonely. I think I'm more excited about the roadtrip, driving across the country sounds so cool lol. My plans are to drive to Houston then stay there for a couple days and then my ex/boyfriend what ever you wanna call him haha will be driving the rest of the way with me. Through out the trip I'll be stopping at various places to site see or dine so if anyone knows places I should check out along the way feel free to leave a comment. (san antonio, el paso, new mexico, arizona)
