MUFE HD Elixir

Price:38
So I've heard all about this product when it first came out and I initally thought it was for people with dry skin but nope its perfect for everyone! It claims to hydrate and brighten the skin and it does just that. I'm an oily skin girl so anything that says hydrates I don't even bother with because at the end of the day I'll have enough oil to fry chicken (ok I kid, but you get the picture). I got a sample of this at sephora so I said what the heck I'll try it. My face looked crazy flawless. It didn't make me anymore oily than I already am so it's a keeper. I used the elixir in class on my classmates and it looked AMAZING on them. For perfect looking skin I suggest using your moisturizer first then the HD Elixir and finally your Primer. It's best to apply this product with your hands or a synthetic brush. It is pricey so get a sample at your local sephora and try it out, it'll last you a while.

Review: Benefit Erase Paste

Erase Paste in medium
Cost: $26
I'm back yay!! So I got a lot of request on sharing my thoughts of my Benefit Erase Paste and here it is. I did a great deal of research before I bought this product. There was many mixed reviews on this product either they hated it or it was O.k and there was one or two "I love this product". After I saw how many people hated it I still bought it anyways lol, and I say I fall into the "Its O.K but I'm still going to use it because it kind of works" category. It's a little thick and very creamy. I use this under my Studio Sculpt NW 25 Concealer to help with my dark circles. The way I apply it is I put a good amount below my dark circles with a concealer brush then dampen a sponge and start blending it upwards. The coverage is slightly full but not completely. I have some pretty dark circle so someone with minor circles would like this product more I believe. Also keep in mind the color of these are pinky peachy colors so treat it as a corrector not a concealer. After I have applied my concealer over my erase paste I set it with a translucent powder. So all in all this is a pretty good product for me. I'm not dissapointed but I don't think I'll be buying it again. If you ever read my other reviews and post I love to try knew products so I may try Laura Merciers conceal camoflauge or bobbi browns corrector. MUFE Camouflage Palette No. 2

I swiped it a couple of times. Price: $36
Can't truly rate it but a 5 out of 5 for consistency. Lightweight well pigmented.

I really like this palette the only thing wrong with it is I GOT THE WRONG COLOR PALETTE! ahhhh! I don't have a sephora around me so I asked my sister to get it for me in Cali and she brought it down for me during Spring Break. There are 4 different palettes. I really think I should have gotten No.3. Consistency is great. Very light weight, buildable. The purple color is to neautralize yellow undertones. This is very pricey but I couldn't resist I wanted to try it so bad. I think I would have fell in love if I would have gotten the right palette. The only use for it now is for my makeup kit when I do others makeup. =) Another product I will be definitely trying is Ben Nye's Coneal all wheel. I am on a hunt for the best conealer out there. Watch me!

The difference between Smashbox Antishine and MAC Matte

Ok I really thought these two products did the same things but unfortunately they don't

Smashbox Antishine

Price:27
Rating: 3.9 out of 5
Reasoning: broke me out when used to much. It made me mad lol

What it claims it does:Inspired by the hot lights of Hollywood's most glamorous photo shoots, this remarkably cool and refreshing Anti-Shine powder-gel formula sets Smashbox apart from the rest. Perfectly designed to afford a natural-looking, long-lasting matte finish while absorbing surface shine.

My opinion: This product removes shine while mattifying the skin. It's creamy at first but once it is spread on the skin it mattifies instantly. If you spread it like you would with a lotion you will notice tugging of the skin. I suggest using small amounts and dabbing it on the skin rather than spreading it across your face. Using too much can cause me some break out, because this product seems to clog the pores. A very small amount is the trick. It says it gives your face a matte no shine face all day long but it seems to only work for 3 hours or so. I apply it after lotion and before primer. If you use it after primer your skin would be too dry for the foundation to glide on. I've used it throughout the day over makeup and it doesn't make you look splotchy at all. I make sure I use my Clean and Clear Oil control blotting sheets first then apply the antishine. It's definitely a product I keep in my purse now.

MAC Matte

Price: 18
Rating:4.0 out of 5
Reasoning: Did not mattify but did make my skin feel silky smooth before foundation application

What it claims it does:A matte-ifying cream that acts like a powder, M·A·C Matte adds a sheer, no-shine matte texture in one smooth layer. May be used on bare or made-up skin. Use a latex sponge or a 252 Large Shader Brush to apply over the entire face or in the T-zone to reduce the appearance of shine. Apply M·A·C Matte after moisturizer, but before foundation to prime the skin for makeup. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation applies smoothly and effortlessly over top of M·A·C Matte. Apply M·A·C Matte to eyelids before applying Eye Shadow or Paints to help increase the longevity of the makeup and reduce creasing.

My Opinion: So when I read the two descriptions I thought ok so they practically do the same things. Well actually not at all. MAC Matte says it mattes the skin while reduces shine. It really does none of that. I was still shiny and I definitely did not see it matte the skin. It may have mattified a little but not anything like the Antishine. The only thing I like about this product was that it was silicone based so it acted like a primer. Well yeah it pretty much is a primer. If you have ever tried Smashbox Photofinish Primer (the normal one) they are very similar products except that the MAC Matte DOES NOT leave you hecka oily through the day. If you use too much of MAC Matte it may make your skin oily I haven't tried too much of it but i can see it happening. I would suggest this as a primer to anyone. I especially like to use it under the eyes before I do my corrector and concealer. It allows me to apply it like butttttaa. Seriously BUTTTTAA.
