Before:After.. An Evening Out

I do makeup for a lot of people but I always forget to take before and after pictures. So finally I remembered this time. This was just a night out so I decided to do a soft smoky brown look for her. All in all I think it came out pretty good for an artist in the making.

Japonesque Set Bag and Melting lipsticks

I realized I needed a set bag to get myself more organized for school. The Japonesque Set Bag is amazing and it has so many pockets to organize all my bottles. I got this bag at Naimies Beauty Center and its a huge place. I thought Nigels was amazing Naimies is even better I have to admit. They carry all sorts of brands like NARS, MAC, Kryolan and much more.

Japonesque Pro Set Bag
Cost:30
Rating: 5 Stars
Inside the bag it has 2 large pockets on each side of bag.

On the outside of the bag it has 8 pockets. The ones on the side have velcro.
It has two handles and an attachable strap.

This was my first time melting lipsticks and as I thought the best way to melt them is to melt it over a candle on a metal spoon. Well...that wasn't a great idea and it was a huge awful mess.
--So here is my method of melting my lipsticks--
1. Chop off a piece of your lipstick and place it one of the slits of the palette
2. Get a Q-tip cut off one of the ends
3. Use the stick to puncture the lipstick and rub it back and forth. The resistance will cause the lipstick to melt in the slit and it will start to breakdown.
4. Try to spread the lipstick out evenly and voila!!
5. Take the ends of the cotton swab and clean up around the slit =)

It was a very long day but also exciting day for me. I never thought I would get tired of doing makeup on a person until that day. We practice, practice, practice on each others faces and I got to the point where I was pooped. That day I also realized that I needed to get more supplies for school which is totally burning a hole in my wallet. That night my sister took me out to eat at Cafe Bizou because of my first day of class they had delious Chicken Balsamic but their crab cakes were pretty bad let me tell ya.

Please leave a comment for any reviews or swatches on any of the products from this haul or any of my previous hauls =)

MAC Haul + Where to get Really Cheap RedCherry Lashes

Today was Orientation at the makeup school and I got to see all 9 of my classmates lol. Yes the classrooms are built small so there is more one on one time. We pretty much went over school policies and how this is going to be a life changing career.
So.. Of course going to a makeup school you have to have makeup so this is what I got so far at MAC and I was lucky enough to know someone that had a Pro card and got me 30% off. RED CHERRY LASHES

Iheartredcherry.com
The Cheapest Red Cherry Lashes website I have found so far.

I thought moving out here to CA I could find really cheap and great quality lashes, but I was wrong. I've been everywhere from Korean Supermarkets to Vietnamese markets even down to Fashion District area, and they all sell lashes for $2-$4. I'm not going to spend 4 dollars on lashes when I absolutely know there are cheaper ones out there. I am addicted to lashes and I am always on the lookout for good quality products with a good price tag. If your an addict like me then check out there website I think the prices they offer are an amazing.
