Japonesque Set Bag and Melting lipsticks

I realized I needed a set bag to get myself more organized for school. The Japonesque Set Bag is amazing and it has so many pockets to organize all my bottles. I got this bag at Naimies Beauty Center and its a huge place. I thought Nigels was amazing Naimies is even better I have to admit. They carry all sorts of brands like NARS, MAC, Kryolan and much more.

Japonesque Pro Set Bag
Cost:30
Rating: 5 Stars
Inside the bag it has 2 large pockets on each side of bag.

On the outside of the bag it has 8 pockets. The ones on the side have velcro.
It has two handles and an attachable strap.

This was my first time melting lipsticks and as I thought the best way to melt them is to melt it over a candle on a metal spoon. Well...that wasn't a great idea and it was a huge awful mess.
--So here is my method of melting my lipsticks--
1. Chop off a piece of your lipstick and place it one of the slits of the palette
2. Get a Q-tip cut off one of the ends
3. Use the stick to puncture the lipstick and rub it back and forth. The resistance will cause the lipstick to melt in the slit and it will start to breakdown.
4. Try to spread the lipstick out evenly and voila!!
5. Take the ends of the cotton swab and clean up around the slit =)

Update and MAC 226 substitutes

Lately all I've been doing is buying things that would make me more organized. Like the "Wonder Hanger" (it actually works pretty good). As you can see by my makeup drawer I definitely need drawer organizers.

I bought this cd/dvd holder at container store. Some may already know this but if you dont, the dvd holder fits MAC palettes.

So there is this store in O.C that my sister took me to called Fashion Young, I fell in love. So many clothes that is sold for really cheap. What got me so pissed was that there was this dress I bought back in Florida that I absolutely love but I found it here for literally half the price. grr. I did buy a shirt though. We were kind of in a rush, I'll need to go by myself next time to actually look through all the clothes. My sister got a long tubetop dress that matches my shirt and we actually wore it the same day lol.

Ok so I picked up the MAC 226 today because I was scared it was going to be sold out later when I get my PRO card (If i get my procard). Then I realized hmm I have 2 other brushes that are quite similar i should just return it and spend it on something else.

**The top brush is the Beauty of Essence crease brush from CVS.
--A little rounder at the top and denser.

**The middle brush is the MAC 226.
--Pointier than the 224 and disperses color in a more precise area

**The bottom brush is the Bare Escentuals Smoky V brush.
--the bristles are a lot denser than the 226 and pointier than the CVS brush

Accessory holder ideas

Ok so I'm running out of ideas to blog about. As I'm sitting in my room I'm looking around trying to find things that you readers may be interested in. If you have not already noticed I am an organized freak.

This is a cool plastic compartment thing I found at Michaels which I also believe is at Walmart. One side I put all my small earings in. If they are small enough you can put more than 1 pair in one slot. I have a bout 2 pairs in each slot right now. The other side of the compartment will be my nail accessory placement. Right now I only have one slot filled with little red heart confetti looking accents I got at sally's.
The slots all have safetly locks on them. If you don't want to bother with them you can take it out like I did. It hurts my fingers to open them with the locks on it.

This is a margarita glass I bought from a boutique but you can definitely make your own. This is where I store my rings and I use to store my really big earrings that I hang on the side rim. I don't anymore because I don't have any big earrings that I wear very often, so I dug some up from my drawer and hung them to show you guys. A big pain with the margarita glass is that all the rings goes to the bottom and I you have to dig it up. So if I had to change it I would have got me an oversized martini glass.

If you don't want to paint one your self I believe Hallmark has a variety of painted glasses also.

Tackle Box for Makeup Kit Accessories

I love being organized and this prevents me having to put Q-tips and sponges in ziplock bags and having them be everywhere. This tackle box I bought I Walmart in the camping/fishing makes it easy for me to see everything in one organized box. It comes with 4 removable dividers but in the first row the dividers are permanent. There are also bigger ones which I may go back and get one =). Great idea for makeup artist on the go!

Jazz Up Your Mac Palettes

Do you have many MAC palettes and have trouble figuring out what colors are in what palette.? JAZZ EM UP!!! Labeling them is so boring. Do something unique and interesting to them!

Can you guess what's inside this palette? Let me give you a hint. The pans are similar to the Lady bugs body.

Yay! It's my L'Oreal HIP duo shadows. I rearranged all the colors so they could be next to a color similar to them.

This is my Neutral Brown palette. I didn't take a picture of the inside because I really just shove all my colors in it. I took the divider out because I ran out of room and I can't buy palettes around here I have to wait til I go to Houston or Cali.

I call this my travel palette. If I go on vaction I use one palette and put all the neccessary colors I will need on the trip. This one doesn't have the dividers in it either. This one looks kind of funny I may change it.

So I will be needing to get probably 3 more palettes for a a purple, pink, and blue palette. All the stickers I bought are from Michaels
